About RAEGAN. 

Raegan Smith is a professional freelancer and filmmaker currently based in Dallas, TX. She attended the USC SCA summer program in 2024 and was selected by her class to screen her film at the student showcase. She studied and graduated with a dual degree in Mathematics and Film and Digital Media from Baylor University.

​

During her time at Baylor, she worked for Baylor Vision and the film equipment office.

​

Raegan works as a director, cinematographer, and editor for short films and commercials. She has been working in the industry for a couple years with a few awards to her name. Including but not limited to: Best Suspense Thriller (Austin After Dark 2024) and Best Editing (Black Glasses 2023).

​

Additionally, she works in broadcast and videography. While attending Baylor she worked for Baylor Vision, the broadcast and creative department for Baylor Athletics. A few clients she has worked with professionally include: the Quad City Steamwheelers, the Allen Americans, Baylor Women's Rugby, and more.

​

She currently works freelance for Merit Street Media, TBN, and Game On Sports Network as an Assistant Director, Prompt Operator, Replay operator (Ronin), and Camera Operator.

 

Raegan is always looking for new opportunities and people to connect with!

Fun fact: Raegan played on the Women's Rugby team- placing 3rd overall for D1 schools at the NCR nationals, and winning 1st place for her division 2 times! She now plays for the Dallas Reds as a semi-pro player.
